Beneath a mask of cold stoicism and deliberate distance burns a relentless bloodlust, a hunger she channels through dueling and hunting the beasts that plague the land. As a voidsent, death and shadow are not strangers to her, and she moves through the world on her own terms, untethered, answering only to her own will. Her tongue is sharp and her temper fierce, unforgiving to those who cross her, yet beneath that hardened exterior lies an unbreakable loyalty. She will protect those she calls family with a ferocity born of both love and survival, willing to face any danger without hesitation, even if it means sacrificing herself.

Altun is just now starting to get used to clothes that are not made from metal. She will frequently add metal gauntlets or greaves to outfits that do not need to be armored.
Red Eyes
While most of the time her eyes are teal green, bouts of anger or other extreme emotion can cause the void aether to seep itself in, turning her eyes red. She can also do this at will if she is feeling particularly feisty.

While most of the time, she can be seen with a giant red scythe strapped to her back, when that is absent, it is replaced by a halo of the same color, almost as if the weapon itself has been reformed to take in other places.

Experience & Training

Altun has no memory of how she came to use a scythe, how she came to wield the void aether within her. It is the product of extreme muscle memory, to the point that her fingers will twitch for a weapon even when she is not actively in danger of anything more than social awkwardness. Although she trains in her duels, she also spars with Sebastian, who she finds to be slightly more durable than many of her other friends.

Altun is not only skilled with a scythe but also in hand to combat. While many of her opponents have tried to disarm her, she has turned that around on them, finding her fist in their face rather than the blade at their belly.

Portal creation. Levitation. Enshrouded in deep red and purples, she infuses her weapons with it, hitting her marks harder while infusing herself with their aether, feeding off the rush of it.

Whether a side affect of her connection to the void or merely a skill all her own, Altun is skilled in divining through tarot, oracle, and ritualistic sacrifice.

In spite of his extreme distaste for fighting, Laurent has a scar that starts just below his left eye and splits his cheek. He will only speak of it if he’s asked, and only in hushed whispers.

A feather given to him by Sebastian that he has held in stasis and turned into a hairpin. It almost seems to flicker as if trying to dissipate but Laurent provides it with more aether any time it gets close to doing so.
illiterate
Laurent is wholly illiterate and cannot read written words. He was taught to read in Braille by Faeh. The first thing he learned to write is Sebastian's name.

Experience and Training

Laurent was trained by his mother in the way of botany, growing to be extremely skilled with it. He learned everything he knows about gardening from his mother, using slight aetheric manipulations to create large blooms and expedite the production of fruits, vegetables, and other greenery for harvest.

Laurent can make life from pretty much any kind of dirt, given the right tools. He is an expert botanist and will grow flowers even in the harshest winters of Coerthas. He has a special affinity for flowers, and will grow blooms in places that others would think impossible.

Laurent is a vegetarian and has been cooking his own food for many years, making him quite good at it. Many of his dishes are bland from his natural disposition but he has been learning to tolerate spicy food for the sake of Sebastian.

Having exhausted the vast resources of Noumenon, she now travels the length and breadth of Eorzea—seeking wisdom in churches, libraries, and even the Alchemist’s Guild (though Severian’s raised eyebrows may take some time to recover)—all in hopes of discovering a way to restore her sight.

Shahrizad is completely blind in both eyes and they have a completely milky white hue with no pupils. She uses a aetheric gps of her own making in order to get around but it's not always the best navigator.

machinery, ammunition and warcraft. She also took electives in potioncraft and medicine for the purposes of her personal research.

Shazi is an expert potion maker, but not a great at following the recipe. While she is perfectly capable of making potions normally, she frequently explodes them by trying new methods of experimentation.

Hiiro is a member of the Hanazono's, a clan of foxes who live in Shirogane, a family steeped in history. An alpha, he's deeply protective of the people he cares about, but frequently allows his emotions to get control of him, making him a bit of a loose canon. He has calmed down much since becoming mated but still often speaks before he thinks about the consequences of his words.Hiiro is a hot-headed fox, known for his skill in dueling. He uses a rapier, using speed an agility to his advantage since his size gives him none. He's the pinnacle example of the small and angry.

The Ruby Sea was known for having deep trenches, and deep pockets the Hingans showed reverence to without ever knowing what it was that reverence went towards. Underneath the seas depths, in the deepest of trenches laid a single dragon, a sea serpent that acted as protector for those who crossed into their waters and trechery for those who do the seas harm. After thousands of years in the depths of the sea, one such serpent takes the form of a person, the first to step on land in thousands of years. Learning to speak in the language of the Hingans, the Eorzeans, to walk instead of glide through waves, breath the air through lungs instead of gills, all done as the sea had settled. There was no need for a protector any longer. Saffron would choose their own life, their own path and do so with open arms toward the unknown.

Saffron, while still very much a dragon, has lived most of their long life under water, in the depths of the Ruby Sea. Their eyes are the color of the sea with dark scleras, helpful for seeing in deep waters. Their fingers and toes are webbed and they have fish like scales over their entire body. Even their skin takes on a hint of green when above land.

Please do not take my IC character actions as OOC. I am a very different person even if all my characters have a touch of me that does not mean they are me. I have a tendency to adjust as RP happens and add things in as I go, my characters are always WIP.I am in EST
but my availability is around 9PM-2AM, weekends all day.My response times largely depending on post length and the complexity of what the RP is.
